Seems however tall I feel,
I am so small, My dreams are always out of reach
I breathe, the pressure burdens me
And all I must do, so I start with my two feet
And take a step, followed by the next
Into tomorrow, I’ll take it slow
For every one, there’s a thousand gone before
All of the laughter and the tears make it worth it all
If there’s a stop in the road, my soul will go beyond
My will is strong, and I’ll walk on, I’ll walk on
When the dawn begins to fade
Suddenly blind and I’m praying for the light
Again, it’s raining down on me
My faith is shaken and I don’t know what is right
I turn to see just where I have been
How far I’ve come, then I see the sun
For every one, there’s a thousand gone before
All of the laughter and the tears make it worth it all
If there’s a stop in the road, my soul will go beyond
My will is strong, and I’ll walk on, I’ll walk on
And take a step, followed by the next
Into tomorrow, I’ll take it slow
For every one, there’s a thousand gone before
All of the laughter and the tears make it worth it all
If there’s a stop in the road, my soul will go beyond
My will is strong, and I’ll walk on, I’ll walk on

This is a song I recently wrote about an amazing girl in my life that means the world to me. I won't go into details about what it is that gets her down, all I know is that when she hurts, I hurt. I didn't write this song with the intent it would make everything better. I wrote it with the intent that it could make her smile and be happy in that moment. So that anytime she's down she can read these lyrics or watch this video and maybe smile instead of cry. I don't know.. I just hope others can relate to this just as well. Enjoy guys.. Lyrics are posted Below.

"Baby Don't Cry"
She hangs her head and cries, herself to sleep at night. I wish somehow that I, could take all her pain away. And make her realize, I see that girl inside, the angel locked behind those eyes, I want her to let me in...
I know sometimes its more than you can bare you wish that someone could come save you,
And I know you think that life is so unfair and no I do not blame you.
But when the days are just too much and you can't take it anymore dont let it phase you,
dont let it break you down, dont let it hurt you now, oh no stayyyy strong
Baby dont cry, Baby dont cry, although I know,
it can be hard sometimes,
but Baby don't cry... Just let me hold you until the Morning light.
I aint no simple man, See I will do the best I can, I can be the strongest man, that hero that you need. I can be stability, gravel beneath your feet, the weight that pulls you into to me, I can be your gravity.
I know it can't be easy, when you're puttin up a front, being someone that you're not, but its almost over, so dont give up, dont let go, let me know, you'll let me hold you til the morn, morning light wakes us up, I will never let you go

I'm not a teenager anymore, far from that, but had a life full of drama feeling misunderstood, unloved, weird, and not worthy. A violent childhood due to an alcoholic father who frequently beat up my sick mom, who died of cancer when I was 18. I was diagnosed with BRCA2, a cancer gene that caused my mom's disease and would have made me sick if I hadn't have both my breasts preventively amputated (and reconstructed). Two failed marriages and a lot of surgery and postpartum psychoses. And everytime I thought things were going to change for the best something happend that smashed that idea into pieces again. I hit rockbottom when I lost my son almost 3 years ago, he was only 12.
Sounds like I want to make everyone more depressed, huh? But NO! I've discovered I'm a survivor and learned so much from everything that happened in my life, that all this misery made me into the strong, compassionate person I am today. I coped by dreaming and looking at the beautiful things in life, like art and music. Like Alisha, in my case, that's primarily 30 Seconds To Mars. Music that touches or encourages you can make the difference, look for something that does the trick for you. Through 'my' music I found people that do understand me, that accept me for who I am and that made it easier for me to accept who I am. Doesn't mean I'm never down anymore, that's normal. If I would be laughing the whole day, every day, I would be ending up in a straightjacket as soon as if I were suicidal. Sometimes people don't understand how I can go on after something like that, but I can. Life does go on and I'm making the best of it. I am okay and so are you! Have faith and believe and you'll harvest in a couple of years. Love yourself, Everyone is unique and precious!
This song helps me when I'm about to trip over again:

There is a song by Jon McLaughlin that I always go to when I'm depressed. Even though it has a deep sadness to its sound it is also a reminder that when you are down, alone and struggling you AREN'T. That WE ALL NEED SAVING SOMETIMES.
Come on, come on
You have got to move on
This is not the you i know
This isn't real
It's just all you can feel
And that's the way that feelings go
And whether or not it's right or wrong you'll do what you will do
[Chorus]
When the cloud in the sky starts to pour
And your life is just a storm you're braving
Don't tell yourself you can't lean on someone else
Cause we all need saving sometimes
Say what you will but the time that we fill
While we're on the earth
Should not be alone
We were meant to be known
You make me what i'm worth
But i can't keep you from yourself you'll do what you will do
[Chorus]
I don't know why it has to be this way and
I don't know the cure
But please believe someone has felt this before
[Chorus]
Come on, come on
You have got to move on
This is not the you i know
This isn't real
It's just all you can feel
And that's the way that feelings go
And whether or not it's right or wrong you'll do what you will do
[Chorus]
When the cloud in the sky starts to pour
And your life is just a storm you're braving
Don't tell yourself you can't lean on someone else
Cause we all need saving sometimes
Say what you will but the time that we fill
While we're on the earth
Should not be alone
We were meant to be known
You make me what i'm worth
But i can't keep you from yourself you'll do what you will do
[Chorus]
I don't know why it has to be this way and
I don't know the cure
But please believe someone has felt this before
[Chorus]
